The objectives of Genimpact are to review and discuss the current knowledge about the genetic impacts of farming activities and their implications for aquaculture management, stock conservation and environment safety, and to integrate the scientific basis for the establishment of preventive measures, for important aquaculture species like Atlantic salmon, Atlantic cod, European sea bass, gilthead sea bream, turbot, carp, halibut, scallops, mussels, oysters and European lobster.
