Conference fee will include: tea and coffee breaks, lunch, conference dinner, ice-breaker, and social event.

If you are not able to pay through the registration system at the conference web site, we can accept cash payment at the conference registration desk at Scandic Bergen City Hotel the 1st day of the conference.

How to reach

By plane

Bergen Airport Flesland is located 18 kilometers south of Bergen. The airport bus departs every 15 - 20 minutes and takes about 30 minutes to the Bergen city center. When arriving to Bergen, there is an Airport bus waiting just outside the terminal for all scheduled flights. You can buy your ticket online in advance. The ticket is valid on all departures on the selected date.

If you need a taxi, you will find a taxi rank located just outside the terminal exit at the airport.

By train

Bergensbanen, operated by NSB, takes you on a journey through picturesque mountain scenery and has many destinations worth seeing along the approximately 50 mil long stretch. There are four daily departures from Bergen and Oslo, and the entire trip from Oslo takes about seven hours. The Bergen Railway Station is located right in the heart of Bergen city, just a short walk from the famous Bryggen, the Fish Market and the beautiful and lively city center of Bergen.  

Letter of invitation requests

Participants requiring a letter of invitation in order to attend the conference should contact the organizing committee. Please include the following information:
- your full name as it appears on your passport
- complete mailing address as it appears on your passport
- job title/position and employer
- telephone number
- e-mail address
Please note that this procedure aims to assist participants who need to obtain a visa or permission to attend the conference and is not an official invitation covering fees or other expenses. A letter of invitation does not imply any financial support from the conference.

Liability

The organisation cannot be responsible for healthcare, dental and ambulance services during the conference. The organisation strongly recommends that participants take out comprehensive medical and travel insurance, which should cover the possibility of flight cancellation due to strikes and other causes. Therefore, the organisers accept no responsibility of any nature whatsoever for personal injury, death, loss or damage to property or participants however caused or arising. The participants should make their own arrangements with respect to personal insurance, along with travel insurance.
